DS is 1.0.5 or 1.5,  and yes, it can run on a cluster. But that's not
necessarily my issue, finding a proggie to run on a cluster. I'd like to see
ruffian hit 18-ply in tournament controls (it does not on 1 cpu in those
critical middle moves) to put it up against the known heavyweights.

Crafty, while a favorite of mine, always seems to get beat, and beat it
always seems to get. Can't quite figure out why.
