I did not say that they were the same. I said that they were *all* against the rules and *known* to be against the rules. Knowingly, and deliberately, breaking the rules is unethical. Go read a bl**dy dictionary if you doubt my word. Whether you consider physical assault less (or more) serious than cheating I really don't care - I know the game is poorly served by either. The fact that you consider violence an answer to your problem demeans both you and your argument. However, elsewhere it was said that the incident occurred away from the playing area. Were that the case then I wouldn't expect the rules of bridge to apply (whether they were cheating at Blackjack or fighting in a casino has nothing to do with bridge ). Tim West-Meads (TimWM online)
