The hostility is about being (incorrectly) told what
I am and why I do things. Let me clarify:

I wrote the BBO program because I thought it was
a program that should be written.

BBO is free because I want it to be free.

BBO is financed by the sale of software but it was
not created for the purpose of selling software.

At this point in time BBO runs only under Windows
because I do not have the time to make it run under
other platforms.

I am not trying to "give the world a gift". I am trying
to help make bridge more popular and to be able to
enjoy my life and work at the same time.

I don't really care what other people think of me, but
I do not like it when people post incorrect statements
about me in a public forum.
