Comeeeee on. You're making them sound worse than my mother in law.
Usually, trolls are not thaat bad. I've come accross some very
inspired ones, almost *works of art*.
I am sure is not a mere coincidence where you came accross that post
(an investment msgboard?). People in an investment msg board are
probably a lot less familiar w/ this type of... hmm, ocurrences? and
so are a lot more prone to take them seriously. I am sure you will
find more people of the *It's true, I read it on the internet!* type
in that msgboard than, for example, here on rgb (remember something
like 1 month ago the Fred Gitelman troll. Who took that guy seriously
here?). Ask about *trolls* on places like slashdot.org or kuro5hin.org
and you will get a totally different answer.

-Facun.
*when you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by
doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you cannot do*

p/s: thinking about my mother in law, an old joke came to mind:
-what is the difference between a mother-in-law and a terrorist?
-the terrorist is usually open to negotiations.
