It worked fine when (not so long ago) we rarely had more than 100 players online at one time. It does not work so well when there are 1600+ people online (as there have been for several hours during the past few days). One difficult issue is that I strongly believe it is a good thing to have is a "dynamic lobby" (like we do) as opposed to the user having to click a "refresh" button (as was necessary in the last version of OKB I saw - maybe a year ago). Not exactly sure how to make this workable when there are so many people online. Working on it.... Someone else was wondering about using GIB in some parts of BBO. Likely this will be possible in the not too distant future. Hard to predict when you will see a release that will include these (and other) features. All I can promise is that we are committed to making BBO as good we can. We have 2 (strong but unpaid ) programmers working pretty much full time on the BBO project. The software has been improving at a rapid pace for the past 2 years and I have every reason to believe this will continue. Appreciate all of the suggestions that have appeared in rgb (and those that I receive every day by e-mail). It is much easier for us to make design decisions that people will like when we receive feedback from them! Fred Gitelman Bridge Bsae Inc. www.bridgebase.com
