Power Of The Day -- Aries

ARIES Infinity

Targetted Effects Affect Opponent Too

You have the power to rebound. When another player targets you with
some game effect, that player is also affected. For example, if a
Flare you play gets zapped, that player must also discard a Flare. If
another player makes you lose tokens to the warp, that player must
lose an equal number. If you are Cosmic Zapped, the opponent does not
lose the use of his power.

History: Seeking only to travel the stars freely, the Aries are
abashed at the state of constant cosmic war and get easily upset at
those who wish them harm. To teach them a lesson, they give back all
harm they receive.

FLARE

Phase 9
Wild: You may pick up all Zap Edicts played this round, despite Vulch.

Interphase
Super: The targetted effect does not affect you. It still affects
your opponent. A Flare Zap against this card does not rebound.

PULSAR

Infinity
Con: When you target Aries with a game effect, Aries designates
another player to suffer the effect as well, instead of you.

Infinity
Pro: All other players suffer the targetted affect as well.

Eon/Avalon:

Flare

Super: Once per challenge you may cancel an effect that targets you.
The effect is still rebounded against your opponent. A Flare Zap
against this card does not rebound.

Commentary: This is a rules power from the Astrology series of powers
that was created by bunnythor. This power is different than
originally presented. As bunnythor made it, the power allowed its
player to be immune to Zap Edicts. I liked the power. However, upon
reflection it seemed too similar to my independently created Centaur
power, which protects its player from being targetted by game effects.
Trying at least to keep bunnythor's theme, I reworded it to the
above. I recognize it does have similarity to Vacuum, and perhaps in
a way it is more powerful than Vacuum.
