I disagree.  I want to hear news from gaming companies, including news about
new releases and new websites.  I rarely visit the
rec.games.board.marketplace forum unless I am looking to purchase a specific
game or sell some games.  I don't consider r.g.b.m. the place to obtain
news.

I would also love to see more game companies participate on the r.g.b.
forum.  In addition to supporting their games by giving us rules
clarifications, variants, answers to questions, etc., I have no problem with
companies informing us of new releases and changes on their websites.  In my
opinion, this is an appropriate forum for such announcements.
