Too many years ago when I was in college, early 1990's, before I started to create my own powers I was looking for homegrown powers other people have made. When I inquired on this newsgroup, I was directed to something called an "FTP" site at the time, where I could download a file that had a lot of home made powers, many of them I would later learn were from Matt Stone's set. If I recall correctly, there was a power called Rummy that was pretty much the same as Djinn. I don't remember the exact wording. It didnt' appeal to me at the time. Maybe someone else knows what I'm referring to and can provide more information. In any case, as for this power, I'm personally not thrilled with it. There is too much luck involved in having the right combination of cards. Sure, it's great when you get it, but until then, you're at one less of a power. For example, at Matt Stone's last party, due to a homemade Moon, I got stuck with the Forger power. It allows the player to play any attack card in his hand that matches any attack card played by either main player to add to either side's total, regardless if Forger is in the challenge. I never had a matching card, except once, for the rest of the game and thus had one less power. The ironic thing, though, is that for that one time I did have a matching card, it was just enough to prevent the offensive player from winning the game. Therefore, even though I feel Forger is a terrible power, it was only because of Forger the game continued for a little while longer.
