Well, it may be an interaction with my browser.  I'm using Explorer 5.1
on a mac which I figure is standard enough that it ought to work well
with any site that doesn't offer a lot of real-time interaction.  I
suppose I should try it with Safari or iCab, but I have a real peeve
about sites that can't seem to provide primarily textual content to any
standard browser in a timely fashion.  I don't think they deserve any of
my money until they learn how to write web pages properly.
