I'd be interested to hear your reasons, because I have the same issue.
I'd love to read more of Doug's stuff, as well as others who write for
GV, but their webpage is a morass, everytime I go to check any of their
free resources.  I have to keep reminding myself not to go there,
because it will pull up a second browser window and then constantly
re-update itself with loaded pages.  I have a 1/4 T1 connection in my
office and DSL at home and it manages to basically saturate the
connection, slowing everything else down whenever I load that page.

Someone at GV needs some basic web-design remedial work, and there's *no
way* I would pay them money for web content until it happens, as much as
I'd like to have said content available.  I don't have anything against
them, so I'd actually hope they get this message and fix their bloody
site, because I'd like to become a customer.
