TMG monitors all their matches and runs them through Snowie.

I just got back from recording a number of live matches at the Vegas
tournament. Over the board. It is astonishing how good players are
getting. Remember, there is no way to tell that the anonymous player
you are playing against is not a top expert. The Big Dogs are
disappointed these days if they are over 3.

But the rule in online money play is always caveat emptor. If you
think they're not on the level, don't play them again.

I just played on TMG yesterday for the first time. I love the interface and the CLOCKS!!! Those clocks are great.

With only a minute to make your move I don't see how people would have time to input the opponents moves into Snowie, Jellyfish, or gnubg and wait for it to analyse and show them the best move. Perhaps they could. I've suspected it a lot on FIBS because often the opponents play slows way down and they seem to start playing a lot better.

The one BIG thing I didn't like is that there is no rating system so you don't know if you are being invited to play against a grand master or someone just starting.

TMG really needs to institute FIBS ratings and it would be fantastic.
