I never saw that movie. There is a japanese deck of cards used to play hanfuda (see: http://mahjonginmame.nm.ru/hanafuda.htm). Also, a Korean variant, using the same deck called Go-Stop (available for online play at yahoo games http://games.yahoo.com/gs ). Maybe one of these? The hanafuda cards are typically plastic, about 1" x 2" x 1/32" thick. Steve
