well I've looked in vain for the study I mention below but I can't find it. I did find a study on adoption and alcohol abuse at: http://www.preventragedy.com/PAGES/tsariQ/q21-I.html I'm not saying that gambling and alcoholism are the same - but the study does make for very interesting reading.
