Can somebody please confirm what the following rule changes does to the house edge for the game of Baccarat. My local "cas" takes no commission from Banker bet, BUT only pays 1-2 for a winning 6. I believe that this pushes the house edge up to around 1.46% for the Banker bet. If this is the case, does it alter the house edge for the Player bet, if not, with these rules is it best to bet Player? The 5% commission game is only available in the private high rollers area. Also the game itself has no table limit, but some blurb about maintaining a $10,000 ratio between the house. While I appreciate the Martingale system can be disastrous, a no table limit would surely be an advantage for such a system in this case if your bankroll and nerve would wear it....
