Re: Canada 649 to cost $2 to play

The Canada 649 changes will come into effect 30 May 04. The cost then will
be $2.00 per selection.  The BC49 will also go up from 50 cents per ticket
to $1. per ticket.  The cooperation stated that the Jackpot for the Can 649
will start at 4 Million, and their expectation is, that it will grow to 25
million several times a year.

In the cooperation's letter to subscribers, they said this about the new
649:
        a.  Will still be based on the match 6-out-of-49-numbers format
        b.  Will offer a new $5 prize category
        c.  Will offer better overall odds of winning
        d.  Will offer bigger jackpots more often

I am very interested in sub para c, and what they will be doing to make that
so.
