Re: Frank Scoblete's New Book Group: rec.gambling.craps Date: Tue, Dec 2, 2003, 10:48am From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Seven) Sorry guys and Stacey. When I make a statement like that I make it with myself in mind.I work at the Horseshoe in Hammond,Indiana. We have 100x odds,$20,000 max bets and $50,000 max odds bets.We also have some of the best dealers in the midwest. This is due to the recent taxes Illinois imposed on their casino boats/barges and the fact that we have the highest toke rate in the area. When Illinois passed their new laws their casino business dropped dramatically. Most places let go of many employees and their toke rates dropped from over $30/hour in Elgin for example to around $10.We have guys that have been dealing for 10 to 15 years that know the game inside and out.20 rolls in 10 minutes is ridiculous here.Dealers heads would roll, lol. It is a rare moment when the dice aren't in the air.For my hypothetical example we'll use 25 rolls.Let's say the point is 6.Go $81 across.5 hits on the 4 with a full press every hit equals $3645. 1=go to $45 2=go to $135 3=go to $405 4=go to $1215 5=go to $3645 Same with the 10 and you're already at $7290 5 hit on the 5 with a full press every hit equals $1176. 1=go to $36 2=go to $86 3=go to $205 4=go to $490 5=go to $1175 Same with the 9 and those two numbers at 5 hits each and you have $2350. Next up is the eight. 1=go to $36 2=go to $78 3=go to $168 4=go to $360 5=go to $780 Well the "hypothetical"10 minute roll is just about to end so bring me down with a grand total of $10,420.Obviously you would need a table with good dealers as well as good players that knew what the hell they were doing. This claim unlike all of Heavy's is possible.I witnessed a guy who had maybe $150 left out of his original $500 bankroll catch a 20 minute roll.He started at $85 in with a $10 comebet every roll. He's usually a grind type of guy who sometimes just plays comebets and won't take any odds.Usually he'll take $25 -$30 odds and just keep going off and on until the inevitable 7.That night I don't have the slightest clue what got into him but he was on all the damn numbers and keep pressing them up (full press) every hit. He's another tidbit some of you guys here won't believe. The shooter wasn't a precision roller/dice setter. The guy just picked them up and chucked'em at the backwall everyroll.Anyway he just kept throwing number after number it seemed. His last point was a 4 and the guy was going in for the kill,lol.$1000 on the line with $10,000 odds.Unfortunately the 7 rolled but this gentlemen colored up for over $30,000.Ok guys and Stacey.I work swing and need my sleep, lol.Hope I didn't bore anyone with my post as it is rather long.C-ya! ===== I have dealt the game....with that kind of play, and a moderately full table, the time to set up the presses, the other bets, and pay out all the winners...you ain't getting 25 rolls in ten minutes, I don't care how damn good ya are <g>! Hope you got some sleep! JB
