The advantage of counting as a group is that it decreases your
variance

The disadvantages are that you are more obvious and the honesty thing

Almost always, a counting team will play at different tables (unless
there is some sort of big player thing going on, which is a very
differernt animal). It does a better job of decreasing variance, and
makes your team *much* less obvious.

If you feel are going to play at one table - and have somehow found a
way to discuise your group betting - the ideal thing to do is have
different people keep differernt counts. One focuses on betting
efficiency, others on play effieicnes. Maybe one guy just counts for
insurance.
