The final table only dealt 28 hands, which is far too few hands to get any statistical advantage with counting. It all comes down to luck with basic strategy. Near the end, knowing that it is the last hand, the players either bet half their stack (hoping for a double down or split), or just bet their entire stack. Afterwards, the prizes are awarded based on stack size or the order in which the players busted out.
