In article <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] says... > I am a very fond of good crunchy half sour pickles. > However I am now living in West Michigan and I have searched high and low > and I haven't been able to find anything other than major name brand, limp > dills. > Does anyone know any place in West Michigan that carries Half Sours? > Thanks > Why not pucker up and go for the full sours? ;-) Strubs from Canada make excellent kosher full and half sour pickles, both the shelf ones and the crunchy ones (refrigerated). Their refrigerated ones use Kosher salt, garlic and spices, no vinegar, no chemicals. You need to look in the refrigerated section of your deli for something similar. In Michigan, the only Strubs pickles you would probably find are sold under the store names of Trader Joe's (Trader Joe's Refrigerated Pickles) or Schlotzsky's Deli's (Schlotzsky's Pickles). In fact, Strub's actually makes these types of pickles for all Trader Joe's and Schlotzsky's stores in the USA. Distribution of Strub's in other states in the USA can found at: http://www.strubpickles.com/ and migrate to "Find Products" Check out their product line, they don't just make natural pickles. Dennis
