While watching Giants and Jets football games last year I decided to
key into Excel the restaurants from the 2003 Long Island and NYC
Entertainment books.  Since I had two cards, by sorting both lists and
putting them next to each other  I was able to determine which
restaurants I wanted to go to twice in lieu of not utilizing that
number on one of the cards.  

Below is the Long Island 2004 list, taken from the excel file.  I
don't particularly like Indian food, so if card #'s 3, 21, 42 etc are
restaurants I like a lot on the NYC card, I'll use both numbers on
each card at the Manhattan restaurant rather than leaving it go blank.

I've attached an Excel file if anyone wants to look at it and maybe
complete the NYC side and possibly add others in the NY Metro area,
like Westchester, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Last  year, I was able
to get a hold of a NJ Book and the table of contents had the card #'s
so I started to enter those too, during football games.  

I've eaten in some terrific restaurants from the Entertainment Book
and some very adequate ones.  It's nice to pay $40 in a just adequate
restaurant rather than paying $120 for two people.

The excel file is handy especially if you have a Pocket PC.  There's a
program called NYIDOT or something like that that allows you to see
the screen in landscape mode and that works out great for this handy
chart.
