Misirlou, etc

Now that I know there are some internationals in this group:

Here in St. Louis we actively seek out different recordings to accompany common
dances. An album originally issued in 1967 called Hard Rock From the Middle
East by The Devil's Anvil contains a Misirlou and a Syrto that will definitely
capture the attention of IFD-ers. The album was reissued by Sony Collectibles
in 1998 on a CD that also includes a 1967 album called The Freak Scene by
Psychedelic Psoul, which is an amusing trip down Nostalgia Lane. Two of its
songs are "Draft Beer, Not Students" and "Grok." Nuff said about that.
