"Brain Candy" by Lidsky and Schneider is the only book I'd recommend at 
this time. I think it's still in print. Quick read and the authors have a 
sound attitude about the potentials and the risks. Fair and balanced, if 
you will. Be sure you find a good doctor first and get a baseline for your 
particular health situation. Good luck!
