But then why Salvia getting media attention? And, why use Salvia if
shrooms are such easy access? If Salvia is getting media attention, this
would point to my conspiracy of silence theory. Chemists don't sell
salvia. One thing that likely does keep DXM use down in the UK is that
it is sold at chemists, and behind the counter. In the US, DXM products
are on the shelves, and children can buy them with no questions asked.
Thus, in the UK DXMers tend to be adults, and more mature. Less bad
things that would attract media attention happen with DXM in the UK than
the US, where kids are found in school high on Coricidin.
