Student taken to hospital after swallowing pills

WINDER - An Appalachee High School student was hospitalized after taking
about 12 over-the-counter cold pills he purchased from another student,
a police report said.

The student, whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile,
allegedly purchased 12 Coricidin for $5 from another student on Nov. 10
and took the pills. He was told by the student he bought the pills from
that he would have to take between 10 and 12 pills to get the "full
effect," the report said.
Two other students had also purchased pills from this particular
student, police reports said.
