Re: any URLs for Fair Isle stranded instructions?

Whoa, cool, thanks a million, Stella! I'll point my SIL to that page. She was awed when I showed her the toe-up socks I was trying from Denise's Cybersocks site on socknitters. She's done all kinds of sweaters but never socks.

Thanks, Stella, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. What I'd
like is a step-by-step instruction of how to hold a strand of yarn in
each hand and knit one with one method and the other with the other
method, so as to avoid floats almost completely.

I've been looking on the web for instructions on how to knit Fair Isle
patterns using the stranding technique of knitting U.S. with one hand
and continental with the other. So far all I've found is books or
workshops, and I was wondering whether anyone has seen instructions
posted on the web. I took a class and eventually bought the wonderful
Bourgeois book, but would like to point my knitting (and poor) SIL to a
site, as she wants to take it up. I already have her bday & Xmas
presents picked out, so don't want to add an expensive book, and I won't
violate copyright by xeroxing from my books. TIA!
