Do you have any pictures of this style of headband? Personally, I have no idea what kind of headband you're talking about. Where did you see this headband? In a catalog? A store? A craft show? If in a store or craft show, did you pick it up and look at it, and try to figure out how it was done? Have you looked in the accessories section of the pattern books at the local fabric stores? What kind of fabric? Fleece, wool, calico? How many layers? How many colors? Hancock Fabrics had some interesting fleece scarf/hat designs in their fall/winter magazine.
