Take the bobbin out...  Does this machine have a removable bobbin case,
or is it drop in? Either way, there is a tiny screw holding the leaf
spring that tensions the lower thread on the bobbin case, and this is
the screw that needs a tweak...  Be VERY careful about it!  I fiddle
with mine a lot (yes, even on my 'factory set' Lily!), but it's easy
once you get used to doing it.  You will need a jeweler's screwdriver!
