Re: kiln wash recipe

The traditional was 50 % Flint, and 50% Kaolin by weight.
Then Ron Roy proposed a flint free version that doesn't get sticky as fast:
80 % Alumina Hydrate  20% ball clay.
That's what I use now, applied thinly.
