Hi, The reason that you can't find any info on making kiln shelves is because it is not feasible for the average person to make them at home. They are made commercially using specialised formulas, pressed under very high pressure and very high fired. That is why shelves are so expensive. Anyway, is it worth the risk of a home made shelf breaking and ruining the entire load?
