Re: temporary paint

Poster paint should wash off easily with
water, depending on the surface it's applied
to. I used to do Xmas scenes on downtown store
windows using poster paint mixed with liquid
soap. The soap acts as a wetting agent for the
application and eases removal later when re-wetted.

The originator of the thread did not mention
what it is being painted, but here's another
idea. Use clear (transparent) low-tack self-stick
shelving paper, applied to the object or surface
to be painted. Then you can use acrylic artist paint,
water-base house paint, or whatever will work and
simply strip the shelving paper later when the
painting is to be removed. Clean and simple if
the surface to be painted is suited to this method.
