My cousin used to borrow my old 46 Ford Deluxe every Thanksgiving for the KU football game. They would paint it and 4 or 5 VW beetles with blue and gold poster paint and make the trek to KC each year. I know they got rained on a few times, but the poster paint didn't seem that much for wear. He cleaned it off using a Soilax and paint thinner mix and I never saw any left over blue from the poster paints. He also waxed it for me too! It looked cute, the old Ford with the VWs behind it heading down the highway. And that ole Flathead made it every trip without a breakdown. Gee, I wish I still had that old heap! TTUL Gary
