Hi everybody! After being inspired by all the folks that read [and post] this newsgroup, I did a cyser and a blueberry mel in sept/oct of 2003. the cyser has cleared wondefully and I'm going to move to glass [for the second time] and steal a taste. the mel however, still has what looks like either chunks of yeast or fruit debris floating around... they float up - they float back down... this continues constantly. should I be waiting for this to clear [and settle out] at this point, or can I move it to another glass carbouy again? should I move it to glass while running it through some kind of filter? they guy I got the formula from [A.K.A. Aceman] never mentioned anything about filtering so I'm wondering if this is common with some melomels to have stuff floating around until later in the process...
