Kenmore Question

Does it make sense to get the Kenmore "Deluxe" Water Purifier?  It's $50 
more but I'm really not clear on what I get for $50 other than a 
clock/timer.  I'm tempted to buy the less expensive model but thought I'd 
solicit opinions first.
