The laws get pretty complicated because each state has import/export
laws governing alcohol that crosses their borders. Usually the beer of
the month clubs have a fairly extensive "offer not valid in..." disclaimer.
UPS's standard policy is that they do not ship alcohol, because it is
easier for them to say "no" than it is for them to figure out in each
case whether or not it is legal.
