Our previous 2001 Summer Sale was so much fun we decided to do it again.
Besides, we've been so busy with other things that the comic book biz had to
take a back seat. In fact, our pricing still reflects 2001 Overstreet
because we still haven't gotten around to updating the website to reflect
2003 Overstreet pricing. Not only that, the most recent Overstreet now has
SIX -- count 'em, 6 -- grades listed for each book instead of the 3 they
used to have. i.e. our usual 1-3-10 ratio is shot to heck. As a result, all
deals have to be made on a transaction-by-transaction basis without regard
to values found on the website.

Nevertheless, we wanted to offer something special and have decided to honor
2001 prices up through New Years (January 1, 2004).

Rather than haggle over each deal, we will accept 60% of our listed (2001)
prices up through New Years (January 1, 2004).

There will be no charge for shipping, handling or insurance up through New
Years (January 1, 2004). For example, if it wasn't already sold during our
2001 Summer Sale, Avengers #4 -- an approximate $2,000 value at our 80%
grade -- could have been yours for only $960.00, but only up through New
Years (January 1, 2004)

This sale only applies to titles already graded, priced and listed on the
website. If you wish to make an offer on a specific book not yet graded,
please let us know and we will grade and price the book consistent with 2003
Overstreet values, at which point we can negotiate a reasonable deal.
As usual, if more than one person requests the same book within a 24-hour
time period, the deal automatically converts to a mini-auction and each
person will be given the opportunity to bid against the other.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity NOW, because it will only last a
short while because -- I must have mentioned this -- the sale only lasts
until New Years (January 1, 2004)?
