I have for sale the out-of-print, 1st paperback edition Book "#7 The Mick"
by Mickey Mantle (1985). The edition contains 248 pages of text as well as
vintage black and white photos profiling the life of Baseball Hall Of Fame
member Mickey Mantle.
"He was the country boy from Commerce, Oklahoma, who had to replace the
great Joltin' Joe DiMaggio. In his career spanning two decades, Mickey
Mantle hit 536 home runs, won three MVP awards, and won the Triple Crown in
1956. He played in twenty All-Star games and was inducted into the Baseball
Hall Of Fame. But Mickey Mantle not only hit tape-measure home runs, he
played even while he was in great physical pain. Mickey always gave 110%
and around him a Yankee dynasty was built."
