Mainly I am familiar with the Sierra Cement variety of snow for shelters.  I
am talking about digging out a small cave--enough to crawl up into and
sleep.  I can move snow pretty fast when its the type I am thinking of.  Of
course, I don't have much experience with snow shelters in a variety of snow
types.

I can see some huge comfort advantages with an igloo.  I'll trust to Santa,
but I have a back-up plan too.  :-)
