Identify this engine?

Can anyone help identify this engine? It came off a test stand I purchased.
I can find no numbers or a tag of any kind. It appears to me to be some kind
of research engine used in testing purposes? 2 Cycle opposed cylinders
engine is about 1 ft long. Here is a link to my page with pics of it
