I accept that I made an inadvertant mistake and
accidently typed 'failed' instead of your 'fared'.
That part was off my screen.
I never intend to misquote somebody.
I normally try to be careful, I am sorry.

However, the substance of your statement is
in your word 'miserably'.

I prefer to deal with facts and realities.
That is why we have races, and record results,
more than the 'woulda', 'coulda', 'shouldas'.

I am only mildly interested in the 'what ifs
and 'if onlys.' And I lose interest and normally
go or stay silent when someone goes into
senarios that require multiple re-writes of
what happened.
But when someone uses multiple 'if onlys'
(your word is "several") to trash a driver who
had a quite good season, someone should
defend them on the reality of their record.

The reality was DC 41 points, 1 victory,
to KR 24 points, no wins.

Mechanical failures are a reality.
How much history do you have to
rewrite to in your mind raise KR's
'if only' to DC's reality?
