Grin. Coulthard has done well, and it can easily be argued that he deserved better. I have some rather strong feelings about late 97 & early 98. He had won a GP, went to McLaren in their down years. He got them their first wins in 4 years, and clearly out pointing his teammate. He was leading his teammate, then Ron Dennis jabbering in his ear and making his team wishes clear. Coulthard let Hakkinen through for his first GP win. Then to start out 98 with great optomism for a great new car. Again, leading his team mate and Ron Dennis again jabbering in his ear, making Dennis's wishes /orders (?) for the team clear. Coulthard let Hakkinen through for the win. Two in a row! That has to really disturb a driver's motovation and confidence.
