I don't mind the rule. I just don't like people lying about the year of manufacture to get around the rule.

The muscle cars are muscle cars, and when they get modified we generally call them street machines, hot rods, or just "cars". The cars from the 50s when modified are generally called "custom rods" or just "customs", or if it's a hot rod, then call it a hot rod (like my blown 55 Chevy).
So my '35 Auburn replicar would qualify as a street rod? 8)
