I am building a 1930 Ford Model A closed cab pickup streetrod. The frame has the '32 style add-on frame horns and I have a '32 style steel gas tank. I have a Model A bumper like the front one except curved on the ends to mount on the rear. I need a measurement of how far out this brace extends (see drawing).
The rear braces look like question marks. They are bolted to the rear frame horns with two bolts. I need to know the distance from the outside bolt to the top of the curve (B to C = D). This tells me how far out the brace will hold the bumper from the frame horn. Help?
************ * * * * XXXXXXXXXXXXX (frame horn) C * ********B**********A**** (bumper brace) < - D ->
D = How far the brace will hold the bumper from the frame horn
Thanks.
