I have designed and machined my own tubular control arms, converted to balljoint suspension and converted to rack n pinion steering on my 54 Pontiac. It is not an easy thing to work with front suspension geometry. My 6 month project dragged on for 2 years! All the while RB's has a bolt-in kit that takes a weekend to install. I put a webpage up that discusses the different options that you can do with IFS front suspensions. It ends up being a lot more complicated than it looks. http://www.therockies.ca/~blanchas/54pontiac/progress.html J Forbes wrote: > > Rich wrote: > > I would like to build my own Mustang II crossmember and spring hats > > for a 1935 Ford Sreet Rod Project.
