Honda Accord LCD Stereo Installation?

I enjoy my 2003 Honda Accord and the dash would really be perfect to
install an lcd screen where the radio is but I shutter at all the work
that would need to be done.  Has anyone attempted to put an lcd screen
into one of the newer accords?  Since Accord is now using this
proprietary radio installation it really makes things difficult.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
