I worked my ass off in high school, worker 40+ hours a week, minimum. Many times 80-90 hours a week. I saved a bunch of money and drove a beater truck for a few years. When I grauduated I could have bought a NEW Trans Am, and paid cash, and had plenty of cash left over, but did I? No! All that work gave me allot of respect for my money. I bought a used car and put myself through more school. At any time I could of had a toy car like a Camaro or Trans Am, but I liked knowing I was financially comfortable, for my situation any way. When I was thirty I took the plunge and opened my own bussiness, to bad to say I was not successfull, probably should have filled bankrupcy. I tightened my belt a bit, lived off mac and cheese for 3-4 years and paid off all the debt. What an education! Because of the way I handled my debt, my credit is super! I have credit to burn, but I don't need it! Years later here I am at 44, no bills other than a mortgage, and shopping myself for a couple of toys. Been looking at a new Harley Davidson, and a 2000 or newer Trans Am may find its way to my garage too. Neat thing is if I decide to buy the purchases will be cash! Maybe I should put up a begging site too! LOL! Greg
