Here's a suggestion!
IF the kid really wants the car, have him SAVE UP HIS OWN MONEY instead of
begging on the net!
I noticed that he said that he bought a "few odds & ends". Probably stuff
like Playstation games & DVDs.
When I was 16 I wanted a GTO convertible, but guess what. Washing dishes at
a local diner only paid enough for me to get a 1960 Rambler. Crappy car but
it was a great life lesson because no one GAVE ME anything towards it!
Now I have my 68 GTO convertible, mostly because working my butt off instead
of having money "donated" to me gave me a good work ethic!
If you are his mom you should be ashamed for even allowing him to BEG on the
internet!
