Thanks... That's what I wanted to find out. I took my car to a mechanic (not a dealer) to replace a driver side mirror. Apperantly the mirrors only fold backwards and I broke one off when I backed off between two waist high poles. I mentioned that my speed seems to be underestimated by speedometer. I checked it against those automatic radar displays on the highway. He said that it might be the speedometer cable that wears out or something to that effect. I decided to ask and see for myself before committing to a repair. And also, I don't want to deal with the dealership mechanics if I don't have to..........they take too long and overcharge you. Thanks for the info again. Now I just have to find that 'sensor on top of the gear' and see if it's OK.....
