Moter mount bad?? on 94 Tercel

My daughter just bought a 94 Tercel for school transportation. Automatic
with transverse mounted engine. How much movement is it normal to see when
observing under the hood as the transmission is shifted from park (or
neutral) to either drive or reverse?  I am seeing a noticeable twist as the
car is placed in gear.
