Re: How to measure speaker cables?



May I ask how your listening tests were carried out? Were they blind?
That is, did you have a friend to swap the cables, and yourself to say
which cable that was connected? If not, try it, and remember that ONE
correct response from you is not enough, you would need SEVEN correct
responses in a row to reach 99% confidence (1/128). In that way
listening can be turned into science too.

If you succed in this, THEN you should start looking for measurable
differences.

If you fail to detect a difference for all kinds of music, you might
as well stay with the cheap cable, right? :-)
