I'm not surprised you couldn't let this one go.  I think I know pretty well
what reviewers are trying to say and describe in their reviews.  However, I'm
not an engineer or a "measurer", so I missed the exact frequencies of the
'upper midrange' by a few   1000Hz or so.  But I know the upper midrange when I
hear it...
